GOLDEN HILLSDa Nang, Vietnam 2022The new district of Golden Hills on the periphery of Da Nang City was masterplanned by SOM with a heavy emphasis on creating a lush green neighbourhood with strong connections to adjacent wetlands, rivers and parks. A desire to connect people with nature. The triangular plan was devised to maximise and take full advantage of its riverfront location and distant mountain views. Our aim was to draw traces of the riverfront parks greenery up the facade, mimicking the algae covered rocks of the famous Ran Nam O beach front nearby. Our tower is comprised of both hotel and apartments, split vertically with shared communal facilities, rising up to 22 floors. |
