Our design for a single storey, luxury beach villa. The north facing site possess 40m of beachfront that is blessed with 30 large mature trees ranging in species. This green canopy helps to give the site its character whilst also providing a strong element of shade to the site, which we intend to keep.

The pavilions have been arranged to integrate these trees, creating a series of intimate courtyards. The idea of breaking down the villa into a more human scale is further reinforced by the fact that this home will primarily be for 1 person. The perimeter of all the pavilions, at roof level, include built in planters, allowing greenery to cascade down the façade. The varying arched openings add to the softening of the villa, with frameless glazing that can disappear into cavity walls aiding to blur the boundary between inside and out.
