Koh Samui, Thailand 2006

A private island resort located off the shores of Koh Samui. A total of 60 villas spread across a spacious setting with front of house 5 star facilities, including a jungle spa.

The concept was inspired by the slender Thai long tailed boats, with bands of color (ribbons) wrapping around the units to give good luck and identity, as with local fishing vessels.

Elements of the unit are floated to allow for reconfiguration during the varying monsoon seasons.
